SEED PACKETS
My Story.
Waystosaythankyou began is 2012 a year after I went back to work following the birth of my daughter.
The idea
I decided working as a front line police officer in a busy coastal town in Cornwall was no longer a career I wanted to pursue with a young family.
Having a baby made me consider the physical and mental pressures, my little girl was my focus now so I needed something that would fit in around her.
Waystosaythankyou’s first product was small paper roses made from music paper collected from charity shops. I then went on to making personalised labels and seed packets.
The seed packets were primarily for weddings but I am customer led and was getting more and more requests for seed packets for other celebrations and events. Business grew and grew and in 2015 a year after the birth of my son I was able to take a break from the police and concentrate on my business.
When I Started
When I first started out I would pop the wildflower seeds into little plastic sealed bags within the brown envelopes to prevent seeds leaking out. As the world around us became more and more conscious of the use of plastics I reviewed the way we did things and decided Waystosaythankyou would be as eco friendly as it could be. So we scrapped the little plastic bags and found a new supplier of envelopes that didn’t leak any seeds.
A short while after I held a birthday party for my son and I made up little party bags for all his friends, I put the usual tat, whistles, jumping frogs, pens, bouncy balls etc etc…. All plastic. I looked at the bags and it made me so sad to see so much plastic rubbish most of which will get thrown in the bin soon as the children get home.

So thats when I created our eco friendly party bags. No plastic & eco friendly. Not only did I want to make sustainable products but I also wanted to make them available for lots of budgets. I knew how hard it was being self employed and running a household to buy eco products that were affordable. The eco party bags started with one design and have gone from strength to strength.
We have lots more designs too for little boys and girls, dinosaurs, unicorns, gardens, joint parties & monsters to name a few. We are always open to more ideas and working with other small businesses to help customers find the perfect gift or party bags that ‘doesn’t cost the earth’. I hope you like what I do, I am always after new ideas and inspiration and listen to what the customers want so please get in touch.

If you are new too seeds then growing them can prove to be a challenge. Luckily we have a guide to on how to grow you seed packets.
Our Eco-friendly seed packets can be branded with whatever your need, send us your logo, text and an idea of what you want and we will put it together for you. We will send proof photos before printing to make sure you have the design exactly as you want it.
